By re-using electronic parts from existing printers, combined with new PCBs, we were able to build fully working models of the next generation printers and user interface. The location, feel and sound of the buttons were all as critical to a successful design as the on-screen navigation.
Many of the components were larger and more complex to produce than what can typically be delivered by smaller model shops. This complexity, combined with the very tight, immovable deadline, made this an ideal project for Supermodelli.
